Augustine Mate lives with his two brothers, two sisters and parents in the village of Thuibuang, in the hills of Northeast India. Poverty has been a reality for young Augustine. Unable to find secure jobs, both her parents work as Day Laborers, finding work when they can. Without a proper income there is no money for education for their four children. But Augustine's parents realize that an education is needed to provide new opportunities and a better way of life for their son.
